Questions:
Do you drink coffee?  Why do you or other people drink coffee?
What are the social relationships to other drinks in the U.S.?
We took a coffee quiz (see Mr. McCullough for a copy), then learned the steps of coffee production from seed to sip.
We also did a simulation of the coffee production jobs and learned that a $4.70 bag of coffee is split in this way:
Your Negotiated Proportion in class
Job
Actual Proportions in the United States
$0.60
Farmers
$0.08
$1.00
Exporters
$0.14
$1.05
Shippers
$0.28
$1.25
Roasters
$3.02
$0.80
Retailers
$1.18
HOMEWORK:
In one paragraph answer:
